Unlike conventional garages, Ken's will fit almost anything including towbars, parking sensors, hands free kits, roof bars, radios and alarms. Kens Auto Spares Ltd is owned by the Ken Adamjee Family who moved from East Africa to Nottingham in 1971. The first branch opened in Bulwell in 1976. Branches were later opened in Mansfield and Carlton. The Mansfield branch was closed following the death of Sam Adamji in 1998. Both shops hold true to their roots as traditionally motorist discount shops carrying a wide range of car parts and accessories. The Bulwell Branch is also a Motor Factor and has been supplying car parts to local garage traders for over 30 years. Both branches have fully furnished workshops to create the ultimate one-stop shop for motorists. We install vehicle add-ons like Towbars, Parking Sensors, Reversing Cameras, Roof Bars and In-car Entertainment. We also supply and fit all the usual maintenance products like wiper blades, bulbs and numberplates. The Bulwell branch also offer Car Key Programming and offer a call-out service for lost car keys. Recently we have seen a surge in demand for our leisure products which include Thule Roof bars and Boxes, Cycle Carriers and Electric Bicycles. In 2008, Kens Auto Spares expanded to sell car parts online with the brand name ‘Doctor Car Parts.’
