This Company was inaugurated by then Hon'ble Chief Minister of Karnataka State Shri. D. Devaraj Urs on 23rd October 1973 by releasing 10,000 sheets of DAP paper overlayed plywood for export to UK. Ever since the first production, in October 1973 of PEACOCK DAP paper overlayed plywood, we have extended our product range of high grade specialty plywood, for use in agricultural base, automotive, ship-building and railway industry, building construction, interior decoration and furnishing viz. PEACOCK FILM FACED PLYWOOD, PEACOCK NON SLIP PLYWOOD (MF GRADE) and WOOD PANEL PRODUCTS which are high quality plywood for export to Europe and USA. In 1982 we diversified by manufacturing the PEACOCK WOODEN RTA (Ready to Assemble) CHAIR and a broad range of specialized wooden component parts for the furniture industry. Over the years our products have a gained strong hold in the international market and received merit recognition of CAPEXIL continuously since 1977-78. Currently we are the only Indian manufacturers and exporters of DAP Laminated plywood and fabric filmfaced plywood to Germany and UK.
